There are two global trends right now one being the human-computer interface that is changing to voice such as Alexa Echo, Google Home, Siri, etc. and the second one being the next billion(s) of users are getting on to mobile internet and smartphone.
PhonePost rides both these megatrends by enabling the next billion users to communicate easily and efficiently using voice. Though voice communication is faster than text communication, it's not been adopted widely. We did extensive user research and understand this and built PhonePost. We are seeing very good early success in terms of usage and retention, and hence wish to ramp up the team to build it out for large-scale rollout. For us, PhonePost is the vehicle to harness the immense opportunities these megatrends offer in the coming days. Enabling communication is the first step.
