1. Provide support to the organization in finding qualified candidates for vacant job positions
2. Contribute to the human resource management and employment for the smooth functioning of a medical facility
3. Review a large number of resumes or curriculum vitae
4. Research for job fairs and job seminars and stay involved in cold calling, referral recruiting, etc., to get the right candidate
5. Screen each resume carefully to shortlist the appropriate ones, based on the professional and personal credentials
6. Manage interviews by telephone or in-person meetings to figure out the matched qualities, before processing it to the hiring manager or key interview panel
7. Assist in arranging face-to-face interviews with higher management
8. Assist the managers in recognising the key skills and competencies of the candidate to make the final selection of the candidate
9. Negotiate and decide the cost/salary of the employee in consultation with the higher management
10. Check the background of candidates followed by employment reference checking.
11. Carry out pre-employment tests like medical tests, intelligence quotient, emotional quotient, etc.
12. Report to the manager on the status of the interview and selection process
