About the Internship:
Are you excited to work in a world-class research organization to solve challenging engineering problems?

The intern will work on an exciting project at a reputed research lab working on the development of a high-energy particle detector. Specifically, the intern will work on developing applications on a custom FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) using VHDL (VHSIC Hardware Description Language). The challenge involved is to program the FPGA to precisely measure time for experiments to be conducted in a high-energy particle detector. In this highly complex project (worth over $200million) working on a radiation tolerant FPGA within very tight timing constraints present significant challenges that require frequent FPGA calibration. If you have expertise in hardware description Languages, past experience of working on FPGAs and are eager to take on something truly challenging, this opportunity is for you.
