About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Edit raw footage to create high-quality videos for social media, YouTube, and other platforms
2. Trim and assemble clips, add transitions, and adjust colors, lighting, and sound for a professional finish
3. Add animations, text overlays, captions, and effects to enhance video quality
4. Incorporate background music, sound effects, and voiceovers as needed
5. Format videos for different platforms (e.g., Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and full-length YouTube videos)
6. Ensure videos meet platform-specific dimensions and time limits
7. Understand the content's purpose and help craft compelling stories through video
8. Collaborate with the content team to brainstorm and execute creative video ideas
9. Ensure all edits align with the organization's branding, tone, and style
10. Work with video editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools
11. Coordinate with directors, producers, and other team members to meet project deadlines
12. Provide regular updates on progress and incorporate feedback promptly
13. Create basic animations or intro/outro templates to enhance videos
14. Organize raw footage and maintain an archive of edited videos for easy access
15. Manage file backups and storage systems
16. Keep up-to-date with video editing trends and tools to improve editing skills and add fresh ideas
