We are a trust started by Usha Vishwakarma in 2011 at Lucknow, to fight and raise voice against sexual violence and to create a society with FLOW (Fearless life of Women). We use self-defense training for the empowerment of women, raise a powerful voice against sexual violence, and create economic self-sufficiency for women. We have trained over 1,57,000 girls/women with NISHASTRA and performed over 700 'nukkad-nataks' (street plays) & around 225 seminars for raising awareness & voices.
Fifty countries have filmed our documentaries and we have been the recipient of Forbes India magazine's self-made Women 2020 - India's Top 20 Women Achievers, the RLB award, the title of '100 Women Achievers of India' by the President of India, and many more prestigious awards. RBL has been invited on TV programs like Stree Shakti (Doordarshan), KBC (Sony), No More Kamzor (Star Plus), Savdhan India (Life OK), Live Zindagi (Network 18), and many more. We have one dozen short films on social media.
