Womenite has taken an initiative to help the needy in the Covid19 situation. We are providing people with cooked meals as well as dry ration.
So far, we have provided dry ration to 200 families in regions like Mundka, Nangloi, Razapur (Rohini), Sonepat (Delhi NCR), etc. We are also distributing cooked meals directly to the migrant laborers, daily wage earners, in these areas and indirectly via the Delhi government.
We are looking for people who can help us in making this campaign a success.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include raising funds through your network, writing to potential donors, making CSR proposals, create fundraising collaterals required for fundraising including pitch decks, proposals, donor reports, and annual reports, etc.
Womenite is a youth-led and youth-driven social initiative where we are trying to create an equal society through education, love, and empowerment. Currently, we are conducting workshops in schools and colleges on three main issues, gender equality, menstrual health, and child sexual abuse. We have been working for the 'Beti Bachao Beti Padhao' campaign of the government. In North Delhi, we conducted 'Naari ki Chaupals' with self-help groups of women in 17 of their villages. Recently, our team has worked in the southern districts to educate approximately 44,000 students from 70 government schools on issues like CSA, gender, and menstrual hygiene.
Our achievements include a National Youth Award from the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, an invitation to the UN women's headquarters in New York to present our work, runners-up recognition for the Queen's Young Leader Award 2017, and acceptance in the child safety committee of the West Delhi district.
