About the internship

The selected intern would assist the Atma's partner organization with their financial plan. The role will involve understanding the Atma's partner organization's work and review of the current system and prepare an accounting policy, budget and financial strategy accordingly.

Responsibilities include:

1. Working in collaboration with the partner organization to outline the financial position in the areas of income, expenses, earnings and forecast finances
2. Understanding the financial components of the organization's program
3. Formulating an internal accounting policy
4. Preparing a budget for partner NGO
5. Facilitating implementation of internal accounting systems
6. Planning a fundraising strategy by looking at various fundraising sources and analyzing the one that could be apt for the organization

1. are available for full time (in-office) internship

2. can start the internship between 28th May'19 and 2nd Jul'19

3. are available for duration of 3 months

4. have relevant skills and interests

Added requirements

1. Should have experience of working on a financial planning project

2. Should have training in/experience in financial management particularly budgeting and cash flow for casting

3. Should have experience in preparing budgets

4. Bachelor's degree in accounting

5. Should have a consultative approach to work

6. Should be a self-starter

7. Should be able to deal with ambiguity

8. Should have strong interpersonal and communication skills

9. Should have strong personality

10. Should be maturity
