About Aatma Prakash Mental Health Foundation
Mental health concerns among adolescents are underdiagnosed and undertreated. 9.8 million adolescents in the age group of 13-17 years need active intervention. Lack of empathetic listeners and helpers in the school ecosystem results in increased behaviors of bullying, anger outbursts, withdrawal, and distress among students. We at Aatma Prakash Foundation aim to solve the above-mentioned issues by developing emotional resilience among the youth.

Aatma Prakash Foundation (since 2016) has been working towards building emotional resilience among youth by developing emotional labs in the school ecosystem (to make an emotionally safe and non-judgmental environment accessible to adolescents and youth), training young psychologists to implement the research-based program within schools, and developing community leadership and strengthening a program called 'hope leaders'.
