About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Writing clean, performance-friendly code and performing unit testing
2. Translating functional/business needs into technical requirements
3. Designing, developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting web-based applications and web services under the direction of team lead
4. Working efficiently and meeting project deadlines with minimal supervision

Added requirements

1. Must have a full understanding of front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, Javascript and jQuery

2. Knowledge of WordPress to create and implement customized themes and plug-ins from start to finish

3. jQuery, MySQL knowledge would be helpful

4. Strong understanding of PHP back-end development

5. General knowledge of Google Analytics and Webmaster tools

6. Good communication skills

7. Comprehensive understanding of responsive and adaptive design development

8. Ability to perform cross-browser/cross-platform testing and page speed optimization
