We are looking for a web development intern to develop web-based applications and features for us utilizing languages and frameworks such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, WordPress, etc. UX and UI would be a key aspect of this role, therefore, creativity and innovative thinking are the critical requirements.
1. Develop new user-facing functional web applications and features with clean codes
2. Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs by conducting UI tests to optimize performance
3. Optimize developed application for maximum speed and scalability
4. Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
5. Communicate constantly with colleagues to receive feedback and assimilate them
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or a related field
2. Candidate must have a strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions, and standards
3. Experience in planning and delivering software platforms used across multiple products and organizational units
4. Deep expertise and hands-on experience with web applications and programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, and API's
