About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Assist in writing well-designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
2. Assist in creating website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices
3. Assist in integrating data from various back-end services and databases
4. Assist in gathering and refining specifications and requirements based on technical needs
5. Assist in creating and maintaining software documentation
6. Assist in maintaining, expanding, and scaling sites
7. Keep up to date on emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them to operations and activities

Added requirements

1. Basic knowledge of modern HTML/CSS

2. Knowledge of at least one of the following programming languages: PHP, ASP.NET, JavaScript, or C# is a plus

3. A solid understanding of how web applications work, including security, session management, and best development practices

4. Basic knowledge of relational database systems, object-oriented programming, and web application development

5. Basic knowledge of search engine optimization process

6. Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills

7. Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly, and master diverse web technologies and techniques
