The selected candidate will assist in creating a WordPress website from scratch.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Assisting in creating a WordPress site from start to finish, including the website architecture
2. Assisting in creating a custom WordPress theme for Portraitflip by taking the base of a renowned theme
3. Working closely with WooCommerce and WordPress plug-ins
4. Assisting your team to maintain the speed and resolve errors that an average visitor/customer is facing
5. Coming up with solutions to these problems by doing thorough research
Only those candidates can apply who:
1. are available for full time (in-office) internship
2. can start the internship between 21st Jul'21 and 25th Aug'21
3. are available for duration of 3 months
4. are from or open to relocate to Pune and neighboring cities
5. have relevant skills and interests
1. Should have a bachelor's degree in computer science or a similar field
2. Should know the basics of WordPress, WordPress plug-ins, and theme development
3. Should have knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, and jQuery
4. Should be able to easily incorporate all necessary HTML and CSS into WordPress themes
5. Should know how to work with WooCommerce
6. Should have knowledge of PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, MySQL, Google Webmaster Tools, and UX audits
