Web Development Internship (Part time/Remote)

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Working with Node.js applications
2. Working with the product team to understand the business requirements and building APIs corresponding to it
3. Working with the team to manage, optimize and customize multiple NodeJS applications
4. Creating and maintaining technical documentation

Other requirements:

1. Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and JavaScript object model
2. Thorough understanding of ReactJS and its core principles
3. Experience with popular ReactJS workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
4. Familiarity with newer specifications of ECMAScript
5. Experience with data structure libraries (e.g. Immutable.js)
6. Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus
7. Familiarity with RESTful APIs
8. Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
9. Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
10. Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
11. A knack for benchmarking and optimization
12. Familiarity with code versioning tools (such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial)
13. Candidates with internship period from 3 months to year will be preferred -
