1. Strong Analytical skills and development experience
2. Experience with WordPress websites, plugins, and functionality
3. PHP, MySQL, JavaScript
4. Strong understanding of HTML and CSS including cross-browser compatibility, performance
5. Good internet speed and a good headset
6. Ability to work with ambiguity
7. Chatbot integration experience can be an added advantage
8. Efficiency in WordPress back-end and theme customization
9. Managing the website back-end including database and server integration
10. Experience working with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector and Firebug
11. Troubleshooting content issues
12. Monitoring the performance of the live website
Nayi Disha Resource Centre is a platform that aims to provide information support to families of persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). We, at Nayi Disha, understand that every person with IDD has unique needs and therefore each child/person with IDD will have a need for different therapies or services (education, healthcare). We also recognize that every family faces a different set of questions and challenges at different life stages of the child.
Nayi Disha is our attempt to address the important information needs of parents of individuals with IDD through an information and resource portal and thus develop a digital ecosystem of all the stakeholders such as parents, therapists, doctors, and schools. We hope that this will help build much-needed support for families and also help individuals with IDD receive the best possible care and access the services they require, enabling them to reach their full potential.
