TaggedWeb is an early-stage but high-growth startup. This is an opportunity to work alongside your coursework part-time (~atleast 20 hours per week commitment expected). The selected candidate will work with an experienced, results-oriented team whose members in the past have worked as software engineers at big-tech companies like Amazon. They are passionate about continuously learning, sharing knowledge, and delivering high-quality software. We have regular scrum meetings amongst the team and use state-of-the-art software engineering practices.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Work on the backend
2. Build, implement, improve and test REST APIs
At the end of the month-long internship, if you are a top contributor, we will continue engagement with even more incentives. Top contributors may also have the opportunity to join full-time in the future with a salary + sweat equity.

1. The intern must have experience working with Python, Django, and Django REST framework
2. You should have some experience with ensuring the quality of your code by writing tests for your code
3. You should be familiar with Linux (and preferably operate on Linux or Mac OS)
4. You must also have an understanding of SSH and Git
5. You must be comfortable with Git, Django, and Django REST framework and worked on projects deployed live using the same
6. Experience with React/HTML/CSS/Tailwind is not required but is a plus
Stipend structure: This is a performance-based internship. In addition to the minimum-assured stipend, you will also be paid a performance-linked incentive (₹ 5000 per performance based).
Note: We would offer a performance-based stipend to top code contributors, self-driven interns, thinking about design and product, and delivering results.
