About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Designing and building the website front-end
2. Creating the website architecture
3. Designing and managing the website back-end including database and server integration
4. Generating WordPress themes and plugins
5. Conducting website performance tests
6. Troubleshooting content issues
7. Conducting WordPress training with the client
8. Monitoring the performance of the live website
9. Meeting with clients to discuss website design and function

Who can apply

Only those candidates can apply who:

1. are available for full time (in-office) internship

2. can start the internship between 4th Dec'19 and 3rd Jan'20

3. are available for duration of 2 months

4. have relevant skills and interests

Added requirements

1. Candidates who are undergraduates in Computer Science or a similar field would be preferred

2. Candidates having previous internship experience as a WordPress development would be preferred

3. Must have knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, and jQuery

4. Must have knowledge of backend technologies including PHP and MySQL

5. Must have knowledge of code versioning tools including Git, Mercurial, and SVN

6. Candidates having practical experience working with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector and Firebug shall apply

7. Must have a good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics

8. Must have the ability to manage projects

9. Must have good communication skills

Additional information

Stipend structure: This is a performance-based internship. In addition to the minimum-assured stipend, you will also be paid a performance-linked incentive (₹ 2000 per project completion).
