Electron Desktop Developer (JavaScript) Work From Home Internship

We're looking for a passionate intern with strong JavaScript fundamentals to join our product team at Meru Technosoft. You'll be working on an Electron-based desktop productivity app that captures periodic screenshots, saves local activity logs, and integrates tightly with OS-level features. You'll gain real-world experience in building cross-platform desktop apps (Windows + macOS).
This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys building real software and wants to take ownership of features from start to finish.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Build a desktop screenshot application using Electron
Implement features like:
a. Screenshot at custom intervals
b. Tray minimization
c. Format & folder options (PNG/JPEG)
d. Timestamp-based file saving
e. Notification integration

2. Test app across Windows and macOS
3. Package the app using electron-builder
4. Write clean, documented JavaScript code
5. Collaborate with our UI/UX and backend teams

Who Can Apply:

1. Are available for the duration of the internship (2 months)
2. Have prior experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS
3. Understand the basics of Electron framework
4. Have used or worked with file system APIs, timers, or system events
5. Are eager to learn, self-driven, and can work independently
6. Bonus: Knowledge of GitHub, cross-platform dev, or UI design tools (like Figma)
