1. Current or recent degree: Currently pursuing or recently completed a B.Tech degree with a computer science background or a master’s degree in computer science or an engineering-related field.
2. Programming skills: Strong programming skills in Python and R, particularly for data analysis, statistical modeling, and algorithm development.
3. Financial data analysis: Experience with financial data analysis, including the use of SQL for querying and manipulating financial datasets.
4. Machine learning: Familiarity with machine learning techniques and data science concepts applied to finance.
5. Financial concepts: Understanding of key financial concepts, including portfolio theory, asset pricing, and risk management.
6. Quantitative finance tools: Knowledge of quantitative finance tools and libraries (e.g., NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow).
7. Previous experience: Previous experience in financial modeling, algorithmic trading, or portfolio management is a plus but not required.
8. Market data exposure: Exposure to financial market data (e.g., stocks, options, bonds, commodities) is beneficial.
9. Cloud and visualization tools: Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) and data visualization tools (e.g., Matplotlib, Tableau) is a plus.
