About the work from home job/internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Deal sourcing: Identify and evaluate high-potential startups by attending pitch events, networking with entrepreneurs, and conducting independent research on market trends and emerging technologies.
2. Market research: Conduct in-depth market analysis to understand industry landscapes, competition, and opportunities in sectors of interest.
3. Due diligence: Assist in the due diligence process by analyzing business models, financials, competitive positioning, and growth potential of prospective investments.
4. Financial analysis: Build financial models, conduct valuation assessments, and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) of startups.
5. Investment memos: Prepare detailed investment memos and presentations for the investment committee, providing insights and recommendations on potential investments.
6. Portfolio support: Support portfolio companies post-investment by offering strategic advice, connecting them with resources, and assisting with their growth and operational needs.
7. Networking: Develop relationships with founders, investors, industry experts, and other key stakeholders in the startup ecosystem.
8. Internal projects: Contribute to internal firm initiatives, such as refining investment theses, building operational processes, or exploring new sectors of interest.

Other requirements
1. Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, finance, economics, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 0-1 years of experience working in angel networks, venture capital, financial services, investment banking, or a related field.
3. Demonstrated expertise in due diligence, deal execution, and portfolio management.
4. Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with founders, investors, and other stakeholders.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
7. Experience working in emerging markets or cross-border investments is a plus.
