MERN Stack Development Work From Home Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities:

1. Assist in developing and maintaining web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js)
2. Collaborate with senior developers to implement new features and functionality
3. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
4. Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions
5. Debug and fix issues in existing applications
6. Create and maintain technical documentation
7. Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
8. Help with testing and quality assurance

Requirements:

1. Pursue or recently complete a degree in computer science, software engineering, or related technical field
2. Understand basic MERN stack technologies including MongoDB or similar NoSQL databases, Express.js, React.js with state management, and Node.js
3. Demonstrate knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript fundamentals and ES6+ features
4. Show familiarity with version control systems like Git
5. Understand RESTful APIs and their integration
6. Possess basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles
7. Show willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly
8. Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
9. Demonstrate good communication and teamwork abilities
10. Gain experience with financial technology or payment processing systems
11. Understand authentication and authorization mechanisms
12. Be familiar with testing frameworks like Jest or Mocha
13. Show knowledge of AWS or other cloud services
14. Understand CI/CD pipelines
15. Have an understanding of Agile methodologies
