As a Canva Designer Intern at Jarurat Care, your primary focus will be designing books and book-related marketing materials. You will use Canva to create visually captivating book covers, layouts, and promotional assets for children's books published on Amazon KDP.
Additionally, if you have a strong design sense, you may request to work on other design categories such as graphic design, UI/UX, posters, and business designs.
This internship offers a potential paid conversion upon successful completion of the initial 4-month period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design eye-catching book covers using Canva that align with market trends.
- Create visually appealing page layouts for storybooks, comic books, and coloring books.
- Maintain consistent design elements to ensure a professional and polished look.
- Develop marketing materials such as posters, banners, and social media graphics to promote books.
- Design engaging visuals for Amazon KDP listings and book advertisements.
- Create compelling mockups and sample pages to enhance book visibility and appeal.
- Ensure all book designs comply with Amazon KDP's formatting and specification guidelines.
- Optimize images and text placement for readability and high-quality print production.
- Adapt designs for various book formats, including e-books, paperbacks, and hardcovers.
- Collaborate with writers and illustrators to refine book layouts and designs.
- Implement editorial feedback to improve design quality and brand consistency.
- Revise and enhance designs as needed to meet publishing standards.
Additionally, you may be assigned poster and business design projects, expanding your creative scope beyond book design.

Other requirements
1. Proficiency in Canva and a strong understanding of book layout design

5. Strong time-management skills and ability to meet deadlines
6. Available for at least 4 hours daily with a flexible schedule
