About the work from home job/internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Refactor existing React components to support SSR or SSG in Next.js
2. Reorganize file structure to utilize Next.js's file-based routing
3. Remove or replace client-side-only logic that conflicts with server-side rendering
4. Update meta tags, Open Graph tags, and structured data for better SEO visibility
5. Ensure correct handling of canonical URLs, sitemaps, and robots.txt for SEO
6. Test and implement server-side rendered titles, descriptions, and important content
7. Optimize images using the next/image component
8. Ensure code splitting and lazy loading of non-critical components and third-party libraries
9. Monitor performance metrics, analyze Lighthouse scores, and optimize loading times
10. Define and handle dynamic and static routes using Next.js's file-based routing system
11. Implement dynamic routing with getStaticPaths for large sets of pages (e.g., services, case studies)
12. Manage 404s and redirects efficiently
