With over 30 years of experience, it is a pioneer in the domain and is a one-stop-shop solution for advisory, implementation, litigation support, utilization, and monetization needs. We provide advisory services to importers and exporters on all matters related to the Foreign Trade Policy of India. SCS is at an inflection point having grown at 30% Y-O-Y for the last 3 years. It intends to become a Trade Advisory behemoth, having already created the pillars for the same in the last 3 years. It is now looking to ramp up the team size by 2-2.5X of the present in the next 12-18 months as it goes about creating new business verticals.
About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Work on the research and evaluation of given sectors
2. Evaluate new investment opportunities, conduct detailed due diligence along with identifying the trends in various sectors through primary and secondary research and build a steady pipeline of new prospects basis the investment thesis
3. Make preliminary assessments about the investment potential of specific sectors and companies
4. Prepare detailed sector studies and keep abreast of important trends and developments in the relevant sectors
5. Work on secondary and primary research to gather information about market size, key players, their management teams, suppliers, customers, products, etc.
6. Work on financial and competitor analysis on the target companies (company financials, comparables, etc.) to forecast business, industry, and economic conditions
7. Analyze and monitor investees' key performance metrics
8. Develop and deliver periodic reports on the portfolio
Who can apply

Only those candidates can apply who:

1. are available for full time (in-office) internship

2. can start the internship between 26th Mar'21 and 30th Apr'21

3. are available for duration of 2 months

4. have relevant skills and interests

Other requirements

1. Should be pursuing bachelors or advanced degree in economics, finance, or other quantitative subjects

2. Should have an analytical and logical bent of mind

3. Proven report writing, verbal and written communication, and presentation skills

4. Strong attention to detail and presentation skills

5. Database skills - Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Eikon, VCC Edge, and other financial databases
