Data Science Cyber Security Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Analyze and derive meaningful information from data and produce reports of findings and recommendations
2. Develop data analytics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning capabilities and apply this to the cybersecurity domain
3. Design and develop methodologies, tools, and procedures for identifying suspicious and anomalous data trends
4. Support threat intelligence analysts in analyzing large datasets to produce meaningful and substantive threat intelligence
5. Support identifying data patterns and analyzing security log data
6. Provide assistance to the wider cybersecurity function to collate and produce meaningful metrics and data trends
7. Research and implement the ML algorithms based on the requirements
8. Develop and deploy predictive models using machine learning algorithms
9. Develop and deploy user entity behavior analysis algorithms
10. Run machine learning tests and experiments and identify the glitches and perform statistical analysis and fine-tuning using test results
11. Identify suspicious behavior of the user, breached accounts, and data exfiltration
12. Train and retrain systems when necessary
