This program provides an opportunity for undergraduate students to work throughout the summer in a laboratory at the Lunenfeld-Tanenbaum Research Institute.
The Lunenfeld-Tanenbaum Research Institute, located at Mount Sinai Hospital, is one of the leading biomedical research facilities in the world. Created in 1985, the institute is profoundly advancing the understanding of human biology in health and disease.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include working on a project assigned to them by their laboratory supervisor gaining valuable experience and research skills.
Only those candidates can apply who:
1. are available for full time (in-office) internship
2. are available for duration of 3 months
3. have relevant skills and interests
1. Students must have completed, at the minimum, their second undergraduate year of a recognized university science program by May 2020
