Node.js Internship (Part time/Remote)

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic
2. Write reusable, testable, and efficient code
3. Design and implement low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications
4. Implement of security and data protection
5. Integrate data storage solutions
6. Integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system
7. Understand fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
8. Understand differences between multiple delivery platforms, such as mobile vs. desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform
9. Create database schemas that represent and support business processes


1. Strong proficiency with JavaScript
2. Knowledge of Node.js and frameworks available for it (such as Express, StrongLoop, etc)
3. Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming
4. Good understanding of server-side language
5.Understanding accessibility and security compliance
6. User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
8. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
