Mechanical Engineering Part Time Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Designing and developing an efficient assembly line and assembly process for the slit lamp microscope.
2. Creating documentation such as process training documents, manufacturing procedures, receiving documents, and certificate/test data error documents.
3. Collaborating with product design and development personnel to ensure compatibility between processes and designs.
4. Training technicians on the assembly process and troubleshooting routine problems.
5. Solving design-related problems through the use of Solidworks and verifying solutions through machining or 3D printing.
6. Developing and piloting new projects for early-phase design development.
7. Completing the Bill of Material, drawings, and other required documents.
8. Sourcing vendors for off-the-shelf components and developing production-related supply chain systems.
9. Following daily routine instructions and applying engineering principles to efficiently complete work.
