The sales and service intern will undertake essential duties to drive sales, support customers, and ensure smooth operations. The primary responsibilities include understanding the company's products and services, engaging with potential customers via phone calls and emails, and offering technical expertise.
1. Contact clients to answer queries and provide technical advice
2. Identify and establish new business opportunities by organizing sales visits
3. Prepare tenders, proposals, and quotations
4. Provide pre-sales and post-sales support
5. Educate customers about products and provide advice
6. Manage the sales pipeline
7. Track metrics to ensure targets are hit
Required Knowledge:
1. Knowledge of special-purpose machines, EOAT, pneumatic equipment, and mechanical automation systems.
2. Knowledge of automation systems design and process engineering.
3. Robotic industry knowledge, including brands like ABB, KUKA, Omron, Delta, Fanuc, Mitsubishi, and Universal Robots.
4. Knowledge of PLC/HMI/SCADA/VFD from Siemens, Allen Bradley, Omron, Schneider, Delta, Fanuc, and Mitsubishi.
5. Industrial automation knowledge relating to conveyors, pick-and-place applications, palletizing applications, end-of-line packaging, handling applications, machine tending (CNC), torquing applications, and dispensing applications.
6. Knowledge of machine vision systems.
7. Basic understanding of Industry 4.0, including Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and manufacturing enterprise solution software.
