Blank Noise is a community of Action Sheroes, Theyroes, and Heroes', individuals and citizens united to eradicate gender-based and sexual violence. It is committed to breaking the denial and silence surrounding sexual violence. Over 17 years, Blank Noise has grown from an idea to a movement, with thousands of members across cities, towns, and countries. They are from across age groups, gender, and sexuality. Blank Noise ignites the idea that every individual has the potential to create change, build safe environments, and eradicate sexual violence.
Blank Noise and its community have been instrumental in building public discourse on sexual violence through a range of interventions across media (video, audio, live-action, performance, posters). The collective creates a safe space for survivors to be heard. All of the Blank Noise is built on the lived experiences and insights of its community.
