Justdial has also initiated its 'Search Plus' services for the users. These services are aimed at making several day-to-day tasks conveniently actionable and accessible to the users. With this step, Justdial is transitioning from being purely a provider of local search and related information to being an enabler of such transactions. Justdial intends to provide an online platform to thousands of SMEs to get them discovered and transacted.
About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Independently think of solutions to complex requirements
2. Work on products that are used across platforms (e.g. Android and iOS mobile devices, tablets, desktop/Mac)
3. Analyze current products in development, including performance, scalability, diagnosis, and troubleshooting
4. Work with the existing framework and evolve it by building reusable code & libraries
5. Search and introduce new software-related technologies, process, and tools
6. Collaborate with other team members
7. Develop new user-facing features
8. Work on the robustness of the application with a lot of care

4. have relevant skills and interests

Other requirements

1. Possess exceptional logical skills

2. Strong understanding of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3

3. Good understanding of advanced JS libraries and frameworks such as JQuery, ReactJS, AngularJS, etc. and server-side technologies like Nodejs, MySQL Database, Linux Operating system

4. Knowledge of frameworks like Bootstrap, Foundation, etc.

5. Familiarity with OOPS concepts, JavaScript standards (ES5, ES6), SAAS/LESS CSS pre-processors, module loaders such as RequireJS, AMD and build tools like Gulp/Grunt

6. Awareness around cross-browser compatibility issues and ways for a workaround

7. Good understanding of browser rendering behavior and performance
