Solvitude Solutions Private Limited, a leader in e-learning and content development services, is looking for Alt-Text Writers for Mechanical Engineering.
In this remote role, you will create descriptive Alt-text for various Mechanical Engineering visuals, including technical diagrams, engineering drawings, mechanical parts and blueprints, flowcharts, and complex equations. Your work will make sure that visually impaired students receive clear and accurate information aligned with the accessibility standards.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Writing detailed and accurate ALT TEXT for Mechanical Engineering-related visuals, such as technical drawings, schematics, flowcharts, and equations.
2. Collaborating with the team to ensure content complies with all the accessibility and educational standards.
3. Work with the QC team to review and refine alt-text descriptions, ensuring high quality and accuracy.
4. Interpret images based on accompanying text to identify their purpose and choose appropriate Mechanical Engineering terminology.
5. Produce clear and concise ALT TEXT that is grammatically correct and easy to understand.
6. Review Mechanical Engineering textbooks and related materials to create precise content that aligns with technical subject-matter.
7. Review the alt-text entries in the provided templates or platforms to ensure adherence to accessibility guidelines and job-specific instructions.
8. Ensure that all the content is free from spelling and grammatical errors and follows the appropriate Mechanical Engineering terminology.

Other requirements
