Business Development (Sales) Work From Home Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Identifying potential customers using criteria provided by the founder, online research methods (such as Google Search and ChatGPT), and directories of charitable organizations such as the UK Charity Commission website.
2. Working on using CRM tools like HubSpot to help organize our business development activities.
3. Drafting sales emails and follow-up emails that can be sent to people automatically before and after the meetings they have with the founder.
4. Working on setting up messaging automation using tools like DuxSoup and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
5. Analyzing the effectiveness of our business development activities and suggesting ways in which they can be optimized.
6. Identifying the LinkedIn profiles and other relevant digital content relating to the key decision-makers within the nonprofits we are targeting.
7. Contributing to the smooth running of a small, growing technology startup
8. Working on competitor analysis.
9. Working on getting involved in other projects and opportunities to develop your skills.

This role is initially a 3-6 month post with a minimum commitment of 15 hours a week, with the scope to increase that to 40 hours a week depending on your availability. As a startup, we are constantly learning and looking for opportunities to grow. Whilst we cannot guarantee a permanent role for you at the end of the internship, if you succeed in your role it is likely that we will extend the position into a longer-term contract.
