About the job
Key responsibilities:

1. Utilize strong artistic and visual skills to create visually appealing textures that enhance the overall appearance of 3D models
2. Work on 2D and 3D software, such as Adobe Photoshop, Substance Painter, Maya, Blender, or 3ds Max, for creating textures and understanding 3D geometry and UV mapping processes
3. Demonstrate a solid understanding of UV mapping and unwrapping techniques to apply textures to 3D models accurately
4. Work on different texture types like diffuse, specular, normal, and displacement maps to achieve various visual effects in 3D models
5. Pay attention to detail and accuracy to ensure that textures do not have small mistakes or inconsistencies that can negatively impact the final output of the 3D model
6. Work in different styles, such as realistic, stylized, or cartoonish, depending on the project requirements
7. Work effectively with other team members, understand project requirements, and deliver textures that meet the project's artistic vision and technical requirements
8. Identify and solve challenges, such as resolving texture stretching, blending textures seamlessly, or optimizing texture size for performance

Who can apply:

1. Must have good knowledge of 3D modeling software and techniques such as Autodesk Maya, 3ds Max, and Blender
2. Proficiency in using image editing programs such as Adobe Photoshop and Substance Painter
3. Ability to create realistic textures and materials for 3D models
4. Understanding of design principles and color theory
5. Proficiency in UV mapping and unwrapping techniques
6. Knowledge of animation principles and rigging for 3D objects
7. Ability to create stylized textures for games and other interactive content
8. Experience with game engines, such as Unity and Unreal Engine

Duration: 6 months
Salary during probation: ₹15,000 /month
After probation:

Annual CTC: ₹ 2,40,000 /year

Annual CTC breakup:

1. Fixed component: 80%

2. Variable component: 20%
