1. Create and implement high-quality rigs for characters, creatures, and props
2. Design efficient and game-ready rigs that meet animation and technical requirements
3. Animate characters and objects for in-game actions, cinematics, and cutscenes
4. Collaborate closely with 3D modelers, concept artists, game designers, and developers
5. Ensure animations are optimized and compatible with game engines like Unity or Unreal Engine
6. Troubleshoot rigging issues and provide technical support to the animation team
7. Work with motion capture data when required and refine it for in-game use
8. Maintain consistency in animation quality and style across different assets
Requirements:
1. Hold a bachelor's degree or diploma in Animation, Game Design, or a related field
2. Have 1+ years of professional experience in rigging and character animation, preferably in games
3. Demonstrate proficiency in Maya, Blender, or similar 3D animation software
4. Show strong understanding of anatomy, body mechanics, and facial expressions
5. Possess experience with skinning, weight painting, and IK/FK systems
6. Be familiar with the Unity or Unreal Engine pipeline
7. Present a strong portfolio demonstrating rigging and animation work
8. Work independently and collaboratively within a team
9. Exhibit excellent time management and communication skills
10. Have experience with physics-based animation and procedural rigging
11. Have experience with motion capture pipelines
12. Display a passion for gaming and storytelling
