Location: Bangalore
Experience: 6 months - 1 year

We are looking for an Accounting Assistant with experience to perform daily accounting tasks that will support our financial team.

Key responsibilities:

1. Reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies
2. Create and update expense reports
3. Process reimbursement forms
4. Prepare bank deposits
5. Issue invoices to customers and external partners, as needed
6. Review and file payroll documents
7. Participate in quarterly and annual audits
8. Coordinate with the auditor for GST returns, etc

Requirements and skills:

1. Work experience as an accounting assistant or accounting clerk
2. Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures
3. Familiarity with finance regulations
4. Good math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors
5. Hands-on experience with MS Excel and accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks)
6. Organization skills
7. Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information
8. BSc/BA in accounting, finance, or a relevant field
