About the job
Key responsibilities:
1. Work on native Android development with Java and Kotlin
2. Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release, and support)
3. Work on Jetpack components, Android SDK, & different versions of Android
4. Work on MVC, MVP, and MVVM
5. Work RESTful APIs to connect the applications to back-end services
Requirements:
1. Are from or open to relocating to Guwahati, IIT Guwahati
2. Minimum of 1 year of experience in Android development
3. Strong proficiency in Kotlin or Java programming languages
4. Good understanding of Android app development architecture and design patterns such as MVP, MVVM
5. Experience with Android libraries, frameworks, and tools such as Retrofit, Volley, Room, RxJava, etc.
6. Experience with AWS, IoT, and knowledge of back-end will be preferred
7. Bachelor's or master's in engineering or a relevant field
