Key responsibilities:

1. Manage and administer Oracle databases supporting SAP enterprise applications.

2. Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of SAP systems through effective database tuning and monitoring.

3. Collaborate with functional and technical teams to implement and support SAP solutions.

4. Perform database backups, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.

5. Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner.

6. Apply SAP Accelerate delivery methodologies to streamline project execution.

7. Participate in database upgrades, patching, and security hardening.

8. Provide technical input during SAP solution design and implementation phases.

9. Optimize SAP application performance through schema design and indexing strategies.

10. Maintain documentation and support knowledge transfer across teams.

- Required education: Bachelor's Degree

- Preferred education: Master's Degree

- Overall industry experience of 3-5 years

- Oracle Apps DBA (EBS), Unix/Linux/AIX, General Cloning, Patching, Backup Skills & Performance Tuning Knowledge, must have experience in Oracle Apps DBA (EBusiness Suite versions like R12.1 and R12.2) as a primary skill.

- Must have Knowledge of configuration, administrating, monitoring, troubleshooting, cloning, Patching in Oracle Apps 12.2

- Basic WebLogic server administration needed, must be expertise in AD utilities, EBS Maintenance activities.

- Responsible for reviewing application/databases, health checks and identify performance bottlenecks and fixing those.

- Knowledge hot and cold backups and recovery for Oracle EBusiness suite database and application of PLSQL, and SQL, Oracle Workflow, Oracle Forms, Knowledge of traces, TKPROF and find poorly performing SQL/PLSQL and ability to tune those using explain plan, or using statistics method
