1. Working on programming in full-stack technologies, developing web and mobile-based healthcare applications & meeting functional and non-functional requirements for the national-level platform
2. Ensuring alignment with recommended health stacks and frameworks, electronic health records formats and data exchange standards & identifying management frameworks, compliance with guidelines w.r.t data privacy, data security
3. Applying best practices and industry-specific standards for implementing, testing, and maintaining the application & aligning with UX-UI design
4. Drafting and maintaining documentation for development and testing of various layers (UI, functional, back-end)
5. Supporting and collaborating with various teams for the integration testing
6. Executing other tasks related to migration, enhancements, and software/hardware upgrade
7. Guiding junior programmers and interns with their development and testing efforts
Who can apply:
1. A bachelor s or master s degree in computer science or related streams, or any engineering degree supported by relevant technical background
2. Hands-on programming experience in Java, web and mobile app technologies covering Angular, React, APIs, Postgres, platform security, encryption, etc.
3. 2 to 6 years of hands-on technical experience & covering the design, development, and testing of web applications and platforms
4. Prior experience in helpline or IVR setups
5. Prior experience in healthcare IT projects
The E-Health Research Center (EHRC) @ IIIT-B is an interdisciplinary research center that spreads across all areas of research interests in the institute towards doing applied research in the use of information & communication technologies (ICTs) to meet the healthcare needs of the under-served and marginal population groups in India and similar regions across the world, with an objective of improving affordability, accessibility and availability of technology solutions covering [medical] devices, [health] data, and delivery [platforms and models]. Current focus areas are mental health, malnutrition, and disabilities. Our aim is towards working on new and effective IT solutions and initiatives in public healthcare.
