Application Tester Fresher Job

Key responsibilities:

1. Create and update test cases for the product/project assigned
2. Create automated testing frameworks
3. Create POC for new testing tools and frameworks
4. Prepare appropriate documentation as required by internal product development processes and regulatory agencies
5. Execute test scripts and test protocols
6. Perform code inspections for unit tests
7. Support and enhance the automated testing framework
8. Communicate in writing and verbally (in English) to support status reviews and report relevant facts to determine testing estimates and risks
9. Perform all tasks per program plans and schedules for implementation
10. Support change control process for tracking and management of problems and changes to applications during testing
11. Interpret and translate requirements into functional test scenarios and scripts
12. Analyze and recommend test scenarios and scripts for test automation

Required:

1. Candidate must have experience in software configuration management concepts and processes of managing a software system throughout the testing lifecycle
2. Experience in checking out code from version control Github
3. Good knowledge of bug reporting tools like Jira
4. Knowledge & experience in software quality assurance processes and QA methodologies
5. Hands-on experience in understanding software requirements and creation of test designs, test processes, test cases, and test data
6. Good knowledge of automation tools like Selenium and Appium
7. Knowledge of the integrated development environment
8. Ability to write scripts (in any scripting language or OS) and develop and maintain the automation framework
9. Unit testing tool knowledge and experience in its use
10. Ability to write stubs and drivers independently, to test each module to breakage
11. Understanding of SDLC (Waterfall and Agile) from detailed design to delivery of code
12. Exposure to unit testing/UI automation will be a plus
13. Need to have excellent team orientation skills and good communication skills are required
14. Highly motivated and a go-getter who needs very little or no supervision
15. Good analytical and problem-solving skills
16. Excellent team player, quick learner, and result oriented
