Key responsibilities:

1. Actively participate in the overall application lifecycle
2. Focus on coding and debugging
3. Collaborate with front-end developers
4. Define and communicate technical and design requirements
5. Build a high-quality reusable code that can be used in the future
6. Learn about new technologies and stay up to date with current best practices
7. Conduct UI tests and optimize performance
8. Train, help, and support other team members
9. Design, build and maintain scalable applications using Python and Django
10. Understand the threading limitations of Python, and multi-process architecture
11. Contribute to the entire implementation process including driving the definition of improvements based on business needs and architectural improvements
12. Handle server-side code for a production platform and contribute to new features

As a backend developer, you will be managing the exchange of data between the server and the users. You will be focused on the development of all server-side logic, maintenance, and definition of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.

Other requirements

MCA and computer science graduates preferred

Familiarity with some ORM (object-relational mapper) libraries

Knowledge of user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments

Strong unit test and debugging skills

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science or related field

0-1 years of experience as a software developer in Python, with knowledge of at least one Python web framework such as Django, Flask, etc.

Good understanding of common design patterns and architecture principles to design reliable and scalable applications

Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (such as Git, Mercurial, or SVN)

Strong communication skills

Ability to set up, administer backups, data migration, transformation, and scripting

Salary

Probation:

Duration: 2 months

Salary during probation: ₹15,000 - 20,000 /month

After probation:

Annual CTC: ₹ 3,00,000 - 4,00,000 /year

Annual CTC breakup:

1. Fixed component: 80%

2. Variable component: 20%
