Chaabi is India s first skill development platform focused on blue-collar workers of India. Started by Ex-Google & Ex-Reckitt founders in August 22, Chaabi is on a mission to solve learning & upskilling problems for people who never received a formal education.
Key responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with mentors to understand business requirements and designing, and implement systems for the same for small - mid-size features/modules with the help of mentors
2. Provide timelines and deliver on those timelines with a high-quality implementation
3. Perform functional testing of the functionality coded on development and stage environments
4. Act immediately upon fixing any production issues
5. Chase down programmatic challenges and day-to-day engineering tasks
6. Work closely with project managers, UX designers, QA, other developers, systems analysts, graphic and marketing professionals
7. Write and test code to ensure compatibility and stability: refine and rewrite as necessary
8. Review current systems and present ideas
Skills & Requirements:
1. Be a team player and comfortable working with a geographically diverse team
2. Should always be ready to learn new things
3. Basic understanding of data structure and algorithms, design patterns, and object-oriented programming
4. Basic understanding of fundamental computer science concepts like OOPS, multi-threading, paging, etc.
5. Review of software code, and documentation to ensure technical accuracy
6. Good hands-on experience in Python or Java programming
7. Good to have hands-on experience in other languages like Python and Nodejs
8. Good to have basic knowledge of relational databases (MySQL) or NoSQL like MongoDB/Cassandra
9. Must have zeal to learn and a problem-solving attitude
10. Must have a basic understanding and basic hands-on of code management tools (GitHub/Git)
11. Good to have hands-on experience on any college project using MySQL
12. Skills in data structures and algorithms, Python, Django, MySQL, RDMS, concepts of OOPS, design patterns, and DevOps (basic like AWS and Ec2 instance)
13. Problem-solving skills
