We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Packaging Designer to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and developing innovative packaging solutions that effectively communicate the brand identity, appeal to the target audience, and meet production and sustainability standards. You will work closely with marketing, product development, and manufacturing teams to bring packaging concepts to life from idea to shelf.
Key responsibilities:
1. Develop original and creative packaging concepts for new and existing products.
2. Create dielines, mockups, and 3D renderings to visualize packaging.
3. Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to ensure packaging aligns with brand guidelines and product messaging.
4. Work with printers, suppliers, and production teams to ensure feasibility, cost-efficiency, and quality control.
5. Research market trends, competitor packaging, and sustainable materials.
6. Ensure packaging designs meet regulatory, functional, and structural requirements.
7. Revise designs based on feedback from stakeholders and testing.
Requirements:
1. Education: Bachelor's degree in graphic design, industrial design, packaging design, or a related field.
2. Experience: 2+ years of experience in packaging design or a similar role.
3. Design Proficiency: Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), CAD software (ArtiosCAD or similar), and 3D rendering tools (e.g., Keyshot, Blender).
4. Creativity: Ability to think creatively and innovatively while maintaining brand consistency.
5. Technical knowledge: Understanding of print production processes, materials, and packaging structures.
6. Attention to detail: High level of accuracy in design and file preparation.
7. Communication: Excellent visual, verbal, and written communication skills.
8. Project management: Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
9. Sustainability awareness: Knowledge of eco-friendly materials and sustainable design practices is a plus.
