1. Lead and oversee store projects, including renovations, upgrades, and equipment installations
2. Develop project plans, including timelines, budget estimates, and resource allocation
3. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to identify project goals, requirements, and objectives
4. Source and select contractors or external service providers to execute project tasks
5. Monitor project progress, ensuring work is completed within established timelines and budgets
6. Conduct regular project status meetings and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders
7. Ensure facility compliance with all safety and regulatory standards
8. Develop and enforce safety protocols, procedures, and training programs for maintenance and store staff
9. Stay updated on safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and address them promptly
10. Stay informed on industry best practices and emerging trends related to maintenance and safety
11. Recruit, select, plan visit schedules, and train vendor personnel as required
12. Mentor and develop staff members by providing guidance, performance feedback, and training opportunities
13. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and communication within the maintenance team
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred
2. Knowledge of CAD for drawings and ability to create BOQs
3. Experience in a similar role, preferably within the laundry industry
4. Strong technical knowledge of interior drawings and project management
5. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and engage staff
6. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
7. Solid organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
9. Ability to work in a high-pressure environment with on-call availability 24/7 for emergencies
