About the job

Key responsibilities:

1. Conduct pre-claim legal research and initial case assessments
2. Draft pleadings and appellate documents and file them with the court
3. Maintain pleadings and discovery indexes
4. Organize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs, and appendices
5. Gather relevant information from a variety of sources
6. Liaise between trial teams and internal/external third parties
7. Aid with case settlements

Skills & Requirements:

1. Proven working experience as a litigation associate
2. Applicable knowledge of motions, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules and procedures, practices, etc.
3. Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
4. Strong writing and communication skills along with attention to detail
5. Extensive computer and database expertise
6. Legal degree or other relevant certification
