Associate Video Editor Fresher Job

As a video editor/filmmaker, you will be responsible for developing engaging video content that promotes delishUp. You will report to the head of marketing and will work closely with other members of the marketing team and cross-functional teams to drive the success of the organization.

Key responsibilities:

1. Meeting with the team to determine video requirements
2. Reviewing raw material to determine the shot list
3. Manipulating film and video footage using modern editing techniques
4. Maintaining continuity while moving shots according to scene value
5. Trimming footage and putting together the rough project
6. Improving and correcting lighting, coloring, and faulty footage
7. Inserting dialog, sound effects, music, graphics, and special effects
8. Ensuring the project follows a logical sequence
9. Consulting with the marketing team throughout the project
10. Creating the final cut for sharing
11. Working to manage multiple projects while also meeting project deadlines
12. Assembling recorded film and video footage, applying artistic editing techniques, and creating finished, broadcast-worthy projects that accurately reflect the vision of the marketing & product team

Required:

1. To ensure success as a video editor, you should have expert knowledge of modern video editing techniques, be able to visualize directorial concepts and work according to a strict time schedule
2. Degree or diploma in film studies, cinematography, or related field
3. Previous work experience as a video editor
4. The portfolio must include video shorts, mashups, digital snippets, as well as long-form videos or commercials
5. Hands-on experience with editing software, including Adobe After Effects, Final Cut Pro X, Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, and Premier
6. Creative and artistic skills
7. Familiarity with 3D composition, special effects, and motion graphics
8. Ability to work to a tight schedule
9. Ability to translate ideas into complete projects
