We are looking to add a software engineer to contribute to the development, upgradation and management of our back-end services for the website/PWA/app/chatbot/internal tools. You will be part of a lean team with a very steep learning/growth opportunity while working on and exploring some of the cutting-edge technologies. We have multiple products in the pipeline and we need a strong team player who can contribute shoulder-to-shoulder with the existing team in the software development process. This is a full-time role in Mumbai with flexible working hours (including WFH).
Key responsibilities:
1. Work on Python (at least one Python web framework such as Django, Flask, Pyramid)
2. Work on Node.js and frameworks such as Express, StrongLoop, etc. depending on the technology stack
3. Work using Golang basics, data types, go routines, channels, wait groups
4. Work on Ruby on Rails, along with other common libraries such as RSpec and Resque
5. Design web applications using ExpressJS, Koa, Django, etc.
6. Design and develop REST API with familiarity with GraphQL
7. Deal with SQL and NoSQL databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL and MongoDB
8. Work on user authentication and authorization in distributed systems
Requirements:
1. Engineering degree; computer science preferably (note: please do not apply if you do not meet this criterion)
2. Clear communication with strong interpersonal skills
3. Logical & independent thinker with problem-solving skills
4. A result-oriented approach with the ability to take ownership
5. Ability to work independently with the end-to-end output delivery
6. Ability to structure the code (to avoid rework in future)
7. Experience with Elasticsearch is a plus
8. Prior experience of working with cloud services like GCP, AWS, Digital Ocean, Azure, etc. is a plus
9. Proficient understanding of code versioning services GitHub and Bitbucket
10. Knowledge of low-code/no-code tools to expedite production is a plus

Duration: 3 months
Salary during probation: ₹35,000 - 40,000 /month
After probation:
