About the job

Key responsibilities:

1. Work closely with business managers and stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop solutions
2. Develop scalable solutions and self-serve platforms that will provide data and KPIs to inform business decision-making
3. Monitor existing metrics, analyze data, and partner with internal teams to identify process and system improvement opportunities
4. Identify and review ideas, use cases, and clarify how they differ from existing solutions
5. Ensure data accuracy by validating existing data sources/reports and maintain data integrity
6. Build and maintain BI tools dashboards for self-serve reporting and other ad hoc analysis
7. Accelerate progress by driving crisp and timely decisions, clearing blockers (e.g. PTG), and escalating appropriately

3. Experience with SQL or ETL

B. Preferred Qualifications:

1. 2+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience

2. Experience in development of dashboards through multiple BI tools

3. Experience with owning projects completely (writing scripts using SQL, extracting, analyzing data, and providing precise reports to stakeholders)

4. Experience with Python, R, or other statistics/machine learning packages
