1. Taking responsibility for all sales activities relative to the current and incoming inventory of commercial aircraft parts
2. Processing of the RFQs shared with the associate on an everyday basis
3. Analyzing customer requirements and RFQs, creating proposals, quoting prices, and negotiating prices within company pricing guidelines
4. Focussing on establishing long-term relationships with customers and engaging prospects while achieving sales and generating revenue
5. Holding multiple customer accounts that deal directly with the company and handle all the responsibilities as the only point of contact between the company and the customer
6. Staying updated with the aftermarket industry to recognize issues and trends and increase business through applicable lead generation
7. Researching and identifying new business opportunities including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services or new ways of reaching existing markets
8. Achieving relevant KPIs and making recommendations for the necessary courses of action to achieve optimum results
Requirements:
1. Aviation/BBA/B.Tech/B.E, MBA/M.Tech/M.E/M.Sc/PGDM/PGPX candidates
2. Strong business development experience and a sales background (desirable in manufacturing/aerospace/engineering discipline)
3. Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills
4. A high degree of computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and other skills/abilities
5. Effective communicator at all levels
6. Committed, focused, assertive and adaptable with good interpersonal skills
7. Able to follow procedures with minimal supervision
8. Ability to plan and execute a sale from establishing contact to closing the sale with thorough strategizing, perseverance, and objection handling
9. Should be committed and tenacious with the sales process
