About the job
Key responsibilities:

1. Drive our growth in business loans
2. Work on developing and implementing strategic initiatives to expand our customer base and market presence
3. Leverage your expertise to make a significant impact on our success
4. Identify and pursue new business opportunities in business loans for small and large enterprises
5. Develop and execute comprehensive strategies to achieve sales targets and revenue goals
6. Build strong relationships with banks, NBFCs, and potential clients
7. Research market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and develop strategies
8. Engage with prospects, understand their financing needs, and present suitable loan options
9. Conduct due diligence on client requirements, financials, and creditworthiness
10. Collaborate with internal teams to prepare and submit accurate loan applications
11. Nurture relationships with existing clients, provide support and identify upselling opportunities
12. Lead negotiations with clients, banks, and NBFCs to secure favorable loan terms
13. Ensure proper documentation and compliance with regulations
14. Monitor loan application progress, addressing bottlenecks and expediting the approval process
15. Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes
16. Prepare reports on business development activities, pipeline management, and revenue projections
17. Provide insights and recommendations based on market intelligence and competitor analysis

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or related field
2. MBA preferred
3. Proven track record in business development, preferably in financial services with a focus on business loans
4. In-depth knowledge of business loan products, lending processes, and regulatory requirements
5. Strong networking and relationship-building skills
6. Excellent communication and presentation skills
7. Results-oriented mindset with a drive for achieving targets
8. Proficiency in CRM systems, MS Office, and relevant software
