About the job
Key responsibilities:

1. Handle incoming inquiries and client acquisition by converting the leads, meetings, and negotiation & finalization of the proposal for bookings
2. Maintain good customer relationships & rapport with the clients to book them for the shows
3. Extract the business from the inquiries & leads by convincing them to exhibit, mail the proposals, follow up, meet & close the deals
4. Visit the client's office for the appointed meetings to deliver presentations, convince them, offer them a valuable proposal, and close the deals with the booking of the stall
5. Handle the existing clients & book exhibitions
6. Ensure timely collection of revenue from clients
7. Ensure successful accomplishments of set business targets
8. Visit the trade shows and gather useful data
9. Perform research and develop a list of potential exhibitors/sponsors
10. Enter into the new market segments and create an edge over competitors
11. Explore sponsorship opportunities
12. Show active involvement in operational activities during the show
13. Manage newly acquired customers through their first show cycle to ensure a positive experience and provide resolution advice where necessary
14. Work with other business functions (e.g., marketing, brand, or event operations)
15. Liaise with the event director in relation to key high-value new customers, and sales operations with regards to available spots on the floor plan
16. Handle revenue generation by space selling to B2B clients
17. Identify & pitch new prospective corporate clients by cold calling

Who can apply:

1. Experience in B2B sales and proven ability to deliver revenue targets
2. Proven ability to generate new business revenue, source leads, and close sales
3. Ability to understand and articulate the value proposition and customer ROI
4. Ability to negotiate effectively, and proactively handle & respond to customer objections
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a high level of enthusiasm
